Banana Parathas / Kele ka Parantha


Banana parathas are sweet and salty parathas. Try this unusual, healthy dish, the kids will love it most. 

Banana Parathas / Kele ka Parantha



Category- Vegetarian

Ingredients

All purpose flour (maida) 3 cups
Gram flour (besan) 1 ½ cup
Ripe Bananas 3 nos
Cumin seeds (jeera) 1 tsp
Green chilles 4-5 nos (crushed)
Red chilli powder (lal mirch powder) ½ tsp
Turmeric powder (haldi) ¼ tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil/ghee
Milk for kneading

Method

Sieve well both the flour and mix then in bowl. Now mix Cumin seeds, Green chilles, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Sugar and salt. Now mash the bananas well and mix well with the prepared flour mix. Add one tbsp of oil and knead it well. Prepare the dough with milk. Now take small portion of dough and roll it into parathas. Heat pan (tawa) put the rolled out dough and cook both the sides applying butter or oil, till they turn light brown on both the sides serve hot with curries or chutneys.
