Corn Kachori

 An evening tea time snack!

Corn Kachori

Category- Vegetarian


All purpose flour (maida) 2 cups
Grated coconut 1 cup
Green chilli paste ½ tsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Sugar 1 pinch
Oil 2 tbsp
American Corn 1 cup, steamed
Coriander leaves (dhania leaves) 1 small bunch, finely chopped
Garam masala ½ tsp


Heat oil in pan add salt, sugar, lemon juice, green chilli paste, garam masala, coriander leaves (dhania leaves) and mix well. Add the steamed corn and mix well, keep this aside.
Make stiff dough by mixing, salt along with water.

Make small puris out of dough and stuff with the corn masala. Lift the sides and make small kachoris out of it. Heat oil in deep frying pan, drop these kachori balls and fry on both sides, serve with tomato or green chutney.
