Khatta Meetha Aloo Lachcha / Spicy Potato Snack
Potatoes ½ kg, peeled and grated
Boondi 50 gms
Cashew nuts (kaju) 50 gms
Raisins (kishmish) 50 gms
Melon seeds (magaj beej) 50 gms
Sugar 50 gms, powdered
Salt to taste
Pepper powder (kali mirch powder) 1 tsp
Red Chilli powder (lal mirch powder) ¼ tsp
Thin sev (barik sev) 4-5 tbsp
White lentil (urad dal) 2 tbsp
Curry leaves (kari patta) 2 sprig
Oil for frying
Heat oil in deep frying pan, fry potatoes in it, remove excess oil in absorbent paper. Transfer it in deep mixing bowl.
Fry lightly, cashew nuts (kaju), raisins (kishmish), white lentil (urad dal), melon seeds (magaj beej) and curry leaves (kari patta) in oil, remove excess oil and add it to fried grated potatoes.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well, store it in air tight container. It’s a wonderful snacks that can be served to guests with tea.
